I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Applications (Science) and am pursuing a Master of Science in Health Informatics. HIV Surveillance Data Coordinator

2024 / To-date

In my current role, I lead the design and implementation of IT systems for mortality surveillance. I manage data collection tools, provide technical support, and develop comprehensive data management strategies. My work ensures the delivery of high-quality datasets to inform policy and health interventions.

Electronic Health Records Officer

2021 / 2022

As an Electronic Health Records Officer, I was responsible for maintaining electronic health record systems such as SmartCare, HMIS and DHIS2, with a focus on accuracy and compliance. I trained staff on proper record management practices and ensured smooth database operations to support healthcare delivery.

Field Mortality Surveillance Officer

2020 / 2021

In this role, I conducted verbal autopsy interviews to determine causes of death using advanced software such as InterVA5 through OpenVA technology and using Kobo Toolbox and ODK Central. I was also responsible for supporting HIV and mortality surveillance by collecting and analyzing critical data for public health purposes.

Lecturer in Computer Studies

2019 / 2020

As a lecturer, I taught computer studies and ICT courses to secondary and tertiary students. I developed curricula, prepared schemes of work, and mentored students, achieving an 85% pass rate in computer studies during my tenure.

Developer - Electronic HRM Timesheet Systems

2021 / 2024

I successfully designed and deployed an electronic Human Resource Management (HRM) Timesheet System for the Ministry of Health. This system streamlined employee time tracking, enhanced data accuracy, and improved efficiency in workforce management. By integrating user-friendly features and automating time reporting processes, the platform minimized administrative workload and ensured reliable performance across various health departments.

My work includes designing and deploying websites such as the Livingstone College of Nursing & Midwifery Portal, Precious and Partners LLB Management System, and other professional platforms. Further demonstrating my capabilities, I developed a scalable Multi-Vendor E-commerce Platform, enabling multiple vendors to manage their products and transactions on a unified platform.
